This training will help you create a leadership personal statement and it will help you integrate your personal values with your workplace values. Essentially, this training helps emerging leaders activate their why!
As a result of this workshop, participants will:
- create a leadership personal statement
- learn how their personal statement and values are aligned with the organizations
Managing Emotions at Work
Training length: 2.5 hours
The managing emotions training helps emerging leaders increase their self-awareness. As a result of attending the workshop, participants will:
- understand what emotional intelligence is and why it is important
- learn how to identify and accept your emotions
- learn about their identity, rules and bias
- learn how to incorporate self-compassion regularly
- learn strategies to manage strong negative emotions at work
- create a self care plan – emotions
Communicate with Clarity and Purpose
Training: 2.5 hours
This training helps emerging leaders learn principles to help them actively listen and clearly communicate their thoughts and feelings to others in an open and honest way. As a result of this workshop, participants will:
- gain a better understanding of their own communication tendencies
- gain knowledge on active listening techniques that will help emerging leaders become more impactful
- recognize and appreciate differences in others
- learn strategies to influence others
- create a self care plan – communication
After the training series, participants will complete an action plan to map out the top 3 key areas they will develop (based on the self-care plans).
